This is going to be an exciting year.
Now that I’m back home from Italy and in my last semester of Undergrad, I am feeling super inspired and focused. Which means a lot of exciting things are coming up for this Art History Girl that I can’t wait to share with you!
First of all, I plan on making my posts little bit more regular- I’m aiming for at least three posts a month. Plus, I’m going to try some new kinds of posts. I’d like to make museum guides, do an exhibition review, and cut down my lengthy research papers into fun, easy-to-read articles.
I’m also going to turn my love of art history into a business. Yep, you read that right. That Art History Girl is now on Etsy! I’ve been wanting to get back to my creative side and make a bit of art instead of just studying it, and my Etsy shop is the product of all this extra creativity! Right now I only have a few items that I have made, but the others are pieces that remind me of famous artworks- perfect for any art history lover like myself.
The other idea behind my Etsy shop is to bring a new life to second-hand clothing. I am a very enviromentally conscious person, and after watching The True Cost on Netflix (a documentary exposing the harmful practices of the fast-fashion industry) I figured what better way to keep old clothes out of the landfill than to make them new again.
If there is something you would like to see on the blog or my Etsy shop don’t hesitate to comment below or use the contact page to send me a message!
